The inks that are produced from dyes are much stronger than the pigment-based inks that produce more color from the given density per unit mass. Just due to the liquidity nature of the dyes they have the capability to get soaked in to paper by making the ink less efficient thus by allowing the ink to get melted and fixed. This produces the image or the text but the quality will not be that good. Due to these reasons, these encre are mixed with the solvents for improving the quality of the printing and also easy drying of the matter.
